 Why Support the Foundation Because it’s time. And it’s within your power to help. Attention donors: We now have our 501(c)3 nonprofit status. Our unique focus and strict disbursement of funds via community nonprofit organizations ensure that every dollar you give goes directly to women who are ready to invest in changing their lives for the better. Many nonprofit organizations support the physical needs of women. The Real Foundation addresses the emotional needs of women and signals an evolution in foundational support. Your donation may enable a woman to seek a proper course of therapy, challenge herself through the rigors of an outdoor adventure, or step outside her life in order to see it more clearly. This work is not a quick fix. It takes time, proper professional support, and follow through. The letters and e-mails from women in need continue to pour in. With your support, women across the country can make real commitments to building the real foundations for their lives. A nine-member volunteer Board fo Directors/Advisory Board governs The Real Foundation. The foundation receives no governmental assistance and exacts no administrative fee from donations.
