Establishing The Real Foundation testifies to my own empowerment.
As I continue to grow The Real Foundation, I feel more and more
impassioned, connected, and alive.
The Application Guidelines for The Real Foundation use the
five steps as a framework for determining where to disperse
funds. Our ideal project supports women as they engage the
difficult emotional work that precedes serious and lasting
life changes.

My 5
steps represent the arc of my experience on "Survivor:
Marquesas." I invested
in the show and all it demanded of me; I challenged
myself physically and emotionally; I accepted
my strengths and weaknesses, and those of other players; I discovered
new truths about myself and group dynamics; and I evolved
into a woman with the courage to look at herself clearly and
change her life. |

We applaud the guts, grit, and stamina it takes for women
to grapple with their own inner workings, and are open to
unique initiatives.The Real Foundation grants are our way
of saying, "You have the power to do anything, and we
support whatever it takes to get there."
